Workshops

The original Pottery Parlour workshop is a 2 hour session where you  start with a lump of clay and end with a fully formed and decorated pot.  Your clay is centred on the wheel for you, and from there the clay becomes your own as you  shape and then paint your creation. The studio is lively and lovely, with three wheels, a wide palette of paints, lots of tools and plenty of space. You’ll learn new creative skills whilst absorbing the therapeutic nature of transforming clay into ceramics, and have a hand made masterpiece to keep forever at the end of it all.

There are two ways you can participate in  a workshop:

Round up a group of 4 or more and book the studio,  the same as having a Pottery Party

Or  you can book a slot on one of our popular ‘Throw a Pot’ days. These are fun, dynamic workshops where the wheels spin all day long as people of all ages sculpt and splatter to their hearts content. We take rolling bookings all day so just get in touch to book your 2 hour session. Above is a list of upcoming Throw a Pot days, they fall during school holidays but adults are welcome join in too.

To book contact us.  A 2 hour session costs £15 per person (includes all materials and firing costs) and work is always fired, glazed and ready to collect within a few weeks. We will let you know when the work is ready to pick up and you can either collect it from the studio or we can post it for a small additional fee.
